This week’s episode was slightly late because Noelle had to gain access to a new mic to replace one that was misplaced. I somehow managed to call 2NE1 4minute in this episode, in probably what is one of my greater brainfarts, so in points its a comedy of errors. I’m sorry.

Sorry for the lateness of this episode. I’ve been having motivational issues, but herein we discuss those ridiculous moments of 2012 that left us scratching our heads. From the inane (dating) to the absurd (weed) to the completely disgusting (pedophilia) we cover all the bases as we remember them. So make sure and bring your popcorn as we recap the Scandals of 2012.

Last week was a bit hectic so this episode didn’t get released on time, however it’s here in its entirety to wrap up our 2012 musical review. The next episode takes a look at the Scandals that so easily besot us in 2012 and some looming on the horizon already in 2013.

Bless and Keep Tei, we need Handsome People to endure
No opening or ending song this week as it’s jam packed with music anyway. In this episode we belatedly discuss the first half of our favorite 81 singles of 2012 in Kpop. The criteria for being chosen requires that the song either be released as a single (digital or physical), have a music video or be performed on stage (obviously songs performed at concerts don’t count right away). Thank you for bearing with the length of time this took to be edited and I hope you’ll stick around for us in 2013.
Probably the last episode to be released in 2012, but will be followed by our Top Singles of 2012 episode and our Top Scandals of 2012 episode, so you have a lot to look forward to. This episode is a bit dated, but we had fun recording so you guys should be able to enjoy it. Download Episode 62 – We Expect So Much of You

Opening Song: Trouble Maker – Trouble Maker
Ending Song: Wonder Girls – Like This
Excuse the lateness, please. Both this episode and the next to be released were recorded last month, which accounts for the discussions that are a bit dated. The delays are my fault as my weekends (best available time to edit) suddenly got taken up by softball. Never fear though, I think the discussion here is pretty interesting as we seem to work best when we’re talking about scandal.
We all have accidentally clicked send on the wrong thing, most of us haven't been a much lusted after Kpop star with an "innocent" image while doing it.

With Noelle unfortunately unable to participate due to health and personal reasons I went it alone in this recording, attempting to put my thoughts together on Epik High’s 7th album 99, as well as to reply to 3 emails we had from really nice listeners. I tried my best to keep the conversation going on my own, but hopefully I won’t have to do this very often. As an apology, this episode has background music, 11 tracks from various Epik High albums that I believe show off the diversity of their sound.
For Comparison’s sake here’s the last video from their final release under Woolim
For a lot of people their music videos were a great part of the reason why Epik High stood apart from many of the other artists in the mainstream.
Unfortunately there were some recording issues with Audacity so around minutes 15-18 the audio goes a bit wonky. My advice is to focus your hearing portion of your brain on the songs in the background.
